i haven’t sketched(or even painted, used ink, pastels and ect.) in a VERY VERY long time. So today i had a sudden urge to CREATE something, so i took out all my art tools and just started sketching something. i didn’t even know what i was doing or creating but i didn’t take my sketch pencil off the paper. Mid-way i realized what i was doing, my thoughts are always with the Beautiful Palestinians(especially these past few days because of the Israeli bombings and shellings on Gaza), so i realized i was just putting my thoughts on paper. This might not be the best sketch i created, matter of fact it’s very rough and messy but it means so much to me. This is dedicated to every Palestinian who is being terrorized by Israel, every Palestinian who’s soul is flying; high above us, every Palestinian who Israel has made bled, Every Palestinian, period. To me the Olive tree is a symbol of Resistance, struggle and Freedom. No matter how many Olive trees Israel destroys, the Olive trees still grow Within.
